Art Taipei, organized by Taiwan Art Gallery Association since 1992, is one of the most important art fairs in the global art world, as well as the longest-standing art fair in Asia.
As the joint between Northeast and Southeast Asia, ART TAIPEI offers the best and most up-to-date art of the region by established and emerging galleries. Art Taipei 2016 will return from November 12 to 15 at Taipei World Trade Center. Art Taipei has kept the momentum on both market and education aspects despite the 22-year-long experiences running an art fair in Asia.
With the success in the recent editions, Art Taipei has proved to be one of the most important platforms for promoting and trading arts in the region. The long-time success and constant growth of the fair are believed to be attributed primarily to the strong collector base in Taiwan, and the geographic benefits as a joint between Northeast and Southeast Asia. Especially for this version , Art Taipei 2016 will collaborate APAGA (Asia-Pacific Art Galleries Alliance) which includes eight regional members in order to form a joint force by sharing resouces. Art Taipei 2016 and APAGA look forward to opening a new promosing vision for the furture. In addition to the high-quality art collectors in Taiwan, Art Taipei attracts a large number of sharp-eyed art patrons from overseas every year.
